Lenticular book art: two photos in one book

Upload two photos and BookFoldPro makes strips that carry a slice of each, side by side. Folded over the page edges, they show one photo when the book fans one way and the other photo when it fans the other way.

Make a lenticular book. Free for books up to 300 pages.

How it works

  1. Choose two photos: Pick two clear photos with the same orientation and similar framing. Words work too.
  2. Set your book: Enter the first and last page and the page height. You get one strip for each sheet.
  3. Print the strips: Download a printable PDF (A4 or Letter). Every strip is numbered and holds a slice of both photos.
  4. Fold and apply: Fold each strip on its dashed centre line over the edge of its page, in number order. Fan one way, then the other.

Frequently asked questions

What is a lenticular book?
A photo strip book with two photos. Each strip carries a slice of both, side by side, and is folded over the edge of its page so each photo faces a different way. Fan the book one way to see the first photo and the other way to see the second.
Which photos work best?
Two clear photos with the same orientation and similar framing, each with one main subject. Strong contrast keeps both readable.
Can I use words instead of photos?
Yes. Lenticular books also work with text, for example a name on one side and a date on the other.
How many pages should my book have?
You get one strip for each sheet of paper in the range you choose, so more pages give a smoother picture. Around 300 to 400 pages is a good place to start.
Is it free?
Yes. Lenticular patterns are free for books up to 300 pages. BookFoldPro PRO removes the page limit.
Is this the same as a lenticular fold?
No. A lenticular fold shapes the pages themselves by folding them in alternating directions. A lenticular photo book keeps the pages flat and uses printed strips on the page edges.
