Susanne Malmgren is the master of depth and the pioneer of the Multilayer Fold. While others mastered the surface, Susanne explored the depth. Her journey began around 2007, inspired by Isaac Salazar, when she taught herself the craft while caring for her newborn daughter.

She didn't just fold; she innovated. In the early days, she painstakingly drafted her complex MMF patterns by hand with pen and paper. This dedication to precision laid the groundwork for her iconic scenic narratives, demonstrating that a book could hold an entire scene, not just a silhouette.

Though she never planned to be a public figure, Susanne launched her YouTube channel to answer the overwhelming requests from the community. Today, through BrightSide Studio, she leads a community of thousands, pushing the boundaries of software and paper alike, driven by a simple desire: to give and share this wonderful craft.
