A finished book fold is a gorgeous 3D sculpture, but placing it flat on a shelf can expose it to dust and damage. Framing or mounting your book fold elevates the art piece and keeps it safe for years to come.
1. The Shadow Box Frame
Because folded books are several inches deep, shadow box frame is perfect. Mount the back coverer of the book to the rear boarder of the shadow box, letting the pages bloom outward.
2. Decorative Book Bands
If you display the book freestanding on a shelf, use a colorful ribbon or a clean plastic strip wrapped around the covers to keep the book partially compressed. This keeps the pattern looking tight and clear.
